COMMENTO E PREVISIONI PROSSIMA SETTIMANA (*)

Tutto più o meno nelle previsioni: Sting e il trio Bastard Sons Of Dioniso/Luca Napolitano/Skunk Anansie fra la 10 e la 20. Al numero uno sale Bublè che come previsto sale, mentre resistono ancora bene sia Alessandra Amoroso sia Madonna.

Da segnalare il risultato della campagna low-price di Renato Zero che vale un balzo di 24 posizioni, dalla 35 alla 11.

La prossima sarà molto interessante e credo che la top10 possa essere totalmente diversa da quella di questa settimana: per prima cosa sono è probabile che avremmo tre nuove entratre nelle prime tre posizione, nell'ordine Michael Jackson (aiutato anche dalla data di uscita) e poi Mina e Carmen Consoli in lotta per la seconda posizione. In più sono probabili le crescite di Bastards e Napolitano che se non entreranno in top10, ci andranno poco lontano. La top10 potrebbe/dovrebbe vedere altre due nuove entrate di rilievo: Elio e Le Storie Tese e Sergio Cammariere.

Speranza personale: vedere Il Teatro Degli Orrori in top100 e magari in top50, non una cosa impossibile considerato anche che secondo questa nuova ed interessante classifica dei brani più scaricati in Italia stanno andando abbastanza bene.

Il futuro di worldwidealbums / The future of worldwidealbums

Il 22 Ottobre mi sono (finalmente) laureato in Scienze di Internet con una tesi intitolata "Nuovi Modelli di Business per l'industria musicale: le nuove opportunità nell'era di Internet".

Il futuro è incerto, ovviamente ora la prima cosa che farò è cercare un lavoro (magari inerente ai miei interessi... magari) e sarà quella la mia priorità. Mentre cerco lavoro avrò ancora abbastanza tempo da dedicare a questo blog, ma poi? Poi difficilmente troverò tempo per continuare a stare dietro al sito/blog, anche perchè attualmente non ci guadagno un centesimo da tutto ciò (come è giusto che sia probabilmente).

Le priorità poi saranno altre, il tempo libero sarà e dovrà essere occupato in altro modo. Tutto questo per dire che il futuro di worldwidealbums è un po' incerto. L'aggiornamento settimanale delle stime mondiali mi porta via almeno 6 ore ogni Venerdì quindi sarà la prima "vittima".

Al momento sto cercando un modo per rendere più veloce l'aggiornamento, ma non riesco a venirne fuori. Se avete suggerimenti o idee commentate ;)

On October 22 I (finally) graduated in "Scienze di Internet with a dissertation entitled "New Business Models for the music industry: new opportunities in the Internet age.

The future is uncertain, of course now the first thing I do is look for a job (perhaps relating to my interest ... maybe) and that will be my priority. While I try to work I will have enough time to devote to this blog, but then what? Then will be hard to find time to continue to stand behind the website / blog, partly because currently i'm not earning a penny from this (as it should be probably).

Then will be other priorities, leisure will and must be filled otherwise. All this to say that the worldwidealbums's future is a bit uncertain. The weekly update of global estimates leads me away at least 6 hours every Friday and then will be the first "victim".

I am currently looking for a way to speed the update, but I can not get out. If you have suggestions or ideas comments;)

COMMENTO E PREVISIONI PROSSIMA SETTIMANA (*)

Settimana con qualche sorpresa (negativa): prima di tutto il debutto di Michael Bublè, il suo numero 1 era quasi scontato ed invece si deve accontentare della terza posizione (in parte influita anche dalla data di uscita-giorni di rilevamento, ma abbiam visto che gli album destinati al n.1 difficilmente mancano l'appuntamento). Anche Valerio Scanu poteva devbuttare un po' più in alto. Questi due risultati sono anche caustati dalle prime due posizioni, stabili e decisamente "in forma": Alessandra Amoroso e Madonna. I Rammstein come previsto arrivano abbastanza vicino alla top10. Mentre gli Avion Travel debuttano timidamente alla 40

La prossima settimana dovrebbe vedere una crescita (in termini di posizioni) di Bublè (anche gli Avion Travel) e un debutto da top5 (ma anche top3) di Sting, che da noi (come spesso accade per gli ex-leader di gruppi storici) è sempre andato meglio che altrove. A proposito di ex-leader di gruppi storici, che dire di Skin che dopo lo scioglimento degli Skunk Anansie ha trovato successo praticamente solo in Italia? Ecco, gli Skunk Anansie dovrebbero debuttare la prossima settimana. Per loro l'obiettivo è la top15. Anche la settimana prossima dovrebbe vedere il debutto di ex-reality/talent show: i Bastards Sons of Dioniso e Luca Napolitano (due incognite... diciamo top10 non assicurata)

COMMENTO E PREVISIONI PROSSIMA SETTIMANA (*)

Tiene molto bene Alessandra Amoroso che si conferma al n.1, bene anche Madonna che sta facendo registrare risultati più che buoni, considerato che è un Greatest Hits (e non esattamente il primo in carriera). Come previsto Samuele Bersani è cresciuto (forse meno del previsto, dalla 9 alla 6), come è cresciuta anche Noemi dalla 5 alla 3, a scapito dei Tokio Hotel che fortunatamente scendono subito alla 4.

Shakira debutta più o meno nelle sue possibilità (poteva tentare comunque un debutto in top5) alla 7, mentre sono sempre più sorpreso dalla tenuta dei Pearl Jam che questa settimana hanno venduto adirittura più dei Muse... incredibile. Ancora bene Tiziano Ferro, mentre questa settimana abbastanza male per Eros Ramazzotti, inizio di calo o settimana negativa?

La settimana prossima Alessandra Amoroso (considerato anche che sarà la 4° settimana) dovrebbe perdere il trono. I due sfidanti per il n.1 sono Michael Bublè e Valerio Scanu, i due potrebbero piazzarsi direttamente nelle prime due posizioni. Favorito Bublè visto che ha sempre venduto veramente tanto in Italia (e non solo), Valerio Scanu però (se non sbaglio) è venduto ad un prezzo molto competitivo... staremo a vedere. Fuori dalla top10 (ma non tanto lontano), dovrebbero debuttare i Rammstein. Curioso invece di vedere se gli Amari riusciranno ad entrare in top100, così come altri due grandi dischi: dei Baroness e dei Flaming Lips

Di ignoranza all'interno dei reality musicali ne avevo già parlato in occasione della presunta anti-musicalità di "Venus In Furs" dei mitici Velvet Underground, oggi ci torno....


Si dice che i reality/talent show facciano male... dipende, credo che proporre certi brani storici e di qualità (solo ad X Factor e spesso grazie a Morgan, perchè i brani proposti ad Amici sono pietosi) in prima serata possa in qualche modo aiutare la buona musica... però a volte è vero fanno male... fanno male perchè dimostrano l'ignoranza che aleggia nell'italiano medio. Ognuno è libero di essere acculturato o ignorante quanto e come crede, ma penso che se si vuole fare musica (che è diverso da essere dei burattini) bisogna almeno conoscere l'ABC...

Ed ecco quindi che dopo i Velvet Underground anche i Beatles (questa volta ad X Factor) vengono violentati. E' successo l'altro giorno, durante l'assegnazione dei brani per la prossima puntata. Morgan ha pensato di assegnare solo brani dei Beatles (che sono appunto l'ABC), tutto abbastanza dignitoso, fino a quando è partita "Helter Skelter" (uno dei primi brani "hard rock" della storia).


La reazione di Marco (uno dei più talentuosi, ma anche uno di quelli meno preparati...l'altra volta manco i Talking Heads conosceva) è stata questa: "voglio dire, il pezzo matto è di Marco, cioè io esco con la camicia di forza" e ancora "se lo senti, potrebbero essere i Deep Purple o..i Pink Floyd... cioè veramente quasi punk".




Una reazione che poteva avere una madre negli anni '70...nel 2009 c'è ancora chi appena sente una chitarrina un po' più pesante del solito e una voce un pelo arrabbiata si scandalizza in questo modo?? magari è la musica del diavolo...tutti drogati...ma sono matti??... mah. Stiam parlando di "Helter Skelter", mica di un pezzo black metal o drone!


La seconda frase poi è spettacolare, l'accostamento fra Deep Purple e Pink Floyd è già ridicolo di suo, ma accostare un pezzo come "Helter Skelter" ai Pink Floyd, quello sì che è da matti. Chissà cosa avrà mai ascoltato dei Pink Floyd...


Ma il massimo è "i Pink Floyd... cioè veramente quasi punk".... forse ha associato "pink" a "punk"... evviva i Punk Floyd.

COMMENTO E PREVISIONI PROSSIMA SETTIMANA (*)
Anche questa settimana più o meno come previsto. I Tokio Hotel debuttano molto in alto (ma quanto dureranno?) senza riuscire ad arrivare in cima, dove c'è per la seconda settimana Alessandra Amoroso Più o meno come previsto anche il debutto alla 5 di Noemi, anche se visto il successo del singolo, si poteva pensare ad un risultato 1-2 posizioni più in alto. Bene Samuele Bersani alla 9 (ne paro anche dopo per quanto riguarda la prossima settimana, così come buono il risultato dei Kiss (possibile n.1 in USA). Mariah Carey malino come era prevedibile. discreti debutti per Backstreet Boys e Paola Turci.

La prossima settimana sarà interessante, perchè le vendite li davanti caleranno e le posizioni si avvicineranno, facendosi più incerte. Samuele Bersani potrebbe fare un grosso balzo in avanti (azzardo...podio?). Shakira dovrebbe vicino alla 5. Gli Editors (se entreranno già in chart) potrebbero debuttare in top20. Probabile grosso balzo in avanti per Cecilia Bartoli (92° questa settimana). I grandi Built to Spill difficilmente entreranno in top100, ma il miracolo può sempre succedere. Purtroppo poche speranze per ottimi album come quelli dei The Black Heart Procession e dei A Place to Bury Strangers.
